Young-Key Kim-Renaud (김영기) is Professor Emeritus at George Washington University and President of the Korean Literary Society of Washington(KLSW). She is editor-in-chief of KLSW’s annual publication, 『워싱턴문학』 Washington Munhak (WM), V 19(2016). She won WM’s 18th “New Writer of the Year” Award (제18회 『워싱턴문학』 신인문학상 당선). A linguist and a scholar of the humanities, she has published 13 books, including Creative Women of Korea(2004) and And So Flows History, translation of Hahn Moo-Sook’s novel 『역사는 흐른다』(2005).

Sukza Park served as a toxicologist for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration before embarking on her writing career. She has fulfilled her dreams of becoming a writer, completing works in both English and Korean. Her collection of short stories <River Junction> was published in 2015, and a Korean version of the story collection was published in 2018. She received the 5th Korean American Catholic Literary Award in 2019 for <River Junction> for its Korean version. Her novel <Hamel’s Descendants> was published in Korean in 2019.

Nayoung Bishoff is a Ph.D. candidate in English at the George Washington University, where she is a Columbian Distinguished Fellow. Her research focuses on comparative literature between East and West, particularly Shakespearean adaptations and Romanticism. She has presented on gender, cultural globalization, and film and theater studies at the Modern Language Association, American Comparative Literature Association, Shakespeare Association of America, Asian Shakespeare Association, Renaissance Society of America, Popular Culture Association / American Culture Association and other venues. Currently, she is the Program Chair of MLA's adaptations studies forum (2025-2026).
Her most recent article, “Beyond The (K-Pop) Scene: BTS’s Wings and Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray,” was published in Literature/Film Quarterly (Vol. 53.1, 2025). Her recent publications can also be found in Borrowers and Lenders: The Journal of Shakespeare and Appropriation and The Palgrave Encyclopedia of Global Shakespeare, among others.
Her short story, “The Land of Canaan,” which examines the plight of North Korean refugees, received the Korean Literary Society of Washington’s award in 2023. Her work on this topic was also featured by Radio Free Asia and The Korea Times. As Editor-in-Chief of Korean Literature of Washington, Bishoff strives to bridge the gap between South Korea and the Korean American diaspora, improving access to literary works written in both English and Korean. In recognition of her efforts, she received the 2025 Korean Honor Scholarship, awarded by the Korean Embassy in the United States.
